Percentage calculation

To calculate the percentage of completion of each activity, weights have been attributed to each milestone, depending on their status of advancement.
The different weights per status have been defined as: “Not started” = 0% or 0; “Ongoing or Delayed” = 50% or 0.5, “Completed” = 100% or 1.
The final percentage of an activity is the sum of the status of each milestone divided by the total number of milestones per activity.
For example, for an activity with 3 milestones, where the first milestone is completed, the second is ongoing or delayed and the third is not started,
the total percentage will be (1+0.5+0)/3 *100= 50%.

Symbols definitions

• Completed: The milestone is finalized.
• Not started: Nothing has been done during the agreed milestone year.
• Ongoing: Something happened and milestone year has not passed.
• Delayed: The milestone was ongoing but not finalized during the agreed year.
